Grab your bike, lace up your sneakers, and get on board as we celebrate June as Walk and Roll Month across Cornwall and SDG.
“This year’s Walk and Roll challenge is bigger and better than ever! It’s a month-long celebration of walking and rolling for fun, fitness and function. Plus, we’re thrilled to have the City of Cornwall and the United Counties of SDG joining us in proclaiming June as Walk and Roll Month.”
– Walk and Roll Month Ccoordinator, Chantal Lalonde from the Eastern Ontario Health Unit.
To get involved, all you need is two feet and a heartbeat and a willingness to walk and roll as much as you can! Commit to riding your bike more by planning a fun family outing or riding to work or school; call a friend and hit the trails for a nice scenic walk or a take a tour of your community on foot; or make plans with your spouse or colleague to try carpooling or riding transit to work! There are so many ways to get in on the fun but to help you out, get your own Walk and Roll Bingo Card and see how many boxes you and your family can check off throughout the month. Download your Bingo or pick it up at our various partner locations.
Don’t miss our featured events and various other community activities happening across Cornwall and SDG throughout all of June
